SEEING TRUTH

"We must see Truth, as we see light. Although it has no form, it is able to illuminate and guide us. It is able to penetrate, occupy and transform.

Yet, the light of Truth is much more. It is God's omnipresence that can not be chained, contained, or bent." Mishael

Casting an Anchor

He

When winds come and tear down our walls and floods wash away the earth beneath our feet, we too will fall or float away if we are not rooted and anchored in our faith.  Hope springs from faith and faith in God brings forth the fruit of the Holy Spirit.  Therefore my faith is anchored in the Lord.  He, who the world calls unknown, imagination, mythological and fiction.  Why do I put my faith in the unknown?

When the winds blew, the earth shook and the waters washed the earth from beneath my feet, there was nothing left but the unknown.  I was lost in the world. I cried out but the world did not answer.  But as I was sinking, the unknown sought me out.  He pulled me up and set my feet on solid ground.  He stayed with me, fed me and strengthened me.  I had never felt so safe and loved.  So, I stayed with the unknown and got to know Him.  He became everything to me.

He taught me about His Son whom He sent to die for my sins and teach me how to conquer the sinfulness of the world so that I may live in the His Kingdom.  He placed His hand upon my heart to give me a gift.  I felt everything that He is and had been to me run through me. He told me that the gift of His Spirit would always be with me.  He sought me out, so that I could come to know Him.  Why, I asked Him? And He answered, because You are mine.

SOCIETY'S WASTE

SOCIETY'S WASTE
There's a situation goin' on
Got everybody on the phone
Another situation bout to be
Just wait a minute...TRUST me

Sirens blaring, waves of penetrating sound
Screaming there's something FIERCELY going down

Warning cars to leave the scene
Make room for the aftermath of  carnage and heat
Rumor is...hot, young blood's flowing down gutters lining the filthy city street
Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
Society's waste smelling of nothing but badness

It's all about brothers and sisters creepin' and sleepin', hustlin' and droppin' dimes;
Strung out on that needle; flyin' and DYIN' sometimes

Smoke hissing, slithering, crawling up in the brain;
stoking the chimney to make a man insane

They say there's an EPIDEMIC in this present age
It's taking people down faster than the plague

You see now...rich, little Jimmy ain't burnin' midnight oil to ace that test and stick it
He's cookin' black tar heroin with his friends to get high and kick it

The lady's no lady and she brings him down
In no time at all, Jimmy's the talk of the town
Worse comes to worst, when coach kicks him off the team
Folks with the most, society's hosts, finally panic, protest and SCREAM
Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
Society's waste smelling of nothing but badness

Now, mom and dad are scared Suzie's mind has gotten WICKED
But Suzie don't want their help cause she's learned how to trick-it

Life interrupted, productivity stopped, people chained and shackled--a slave to sin
But, the world can't change hearts and minds with only GARBAGE going in
Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
Society's waste smelling of nothing but badness

LOCK up all them people they say
don't waste our time trying to figure them out, unless they've got mad money to tout;
The rest don't matter cause they don't carry no clout

Strike them from the annals of history
Let them drop, pop, coke and toke to add to their misery

Mainline this message through their veins
No! Your life don't matter in a world where money is the power that reigns

Truth is...you've got no mind on your future; no ambition to invest and save; you've chosen the Method of Meth, which just has one road in life to pave
So, you'd rather give up on your life and make a down payment on your grave; then surrender your will and trust in God, Who will teach you to behave
Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
'Society's waste smelling of nothing but badness

Now, some may ask, "Where IS GOD in all of this? Does He even care if each one of us exists?"
YES, He cares! He chose us to be His ambassadors; His eyes; His hands; His feet
Anointed with His healing power; filled with His Word;
touching every living soul we meet to be empowered by His Sword.

We are His EARS to hear their cries; Unblinded to see the PAIN within their eyes
We are His HEART that should reach out and help our neighbor without DOUBT
Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
Society' s waste smelling of nothing but badness

Now, let me take a moment, just to clear the air
Before you shut this down; thinking, why should you care
As you lie in your bed,
God's watching over you while you sleep
So, before you start your day,
before you're in too deep,
you should thank the Lord for keeping even His LOST sheep

If you're quiet you will hear His voice, giving you and me a chance and choice
Or, you can keep moving along, as if you haven't got a care;
Like those with money lined pockets and their head in the air
Til one day you're in the end zone when you hear a loud SCREECH!!
God's put on your breaks because He's got one last lesson to teach
As you take your last breath,
sin comes to pay you with death and repentance is out of your reach

That soul you treated with selfishness and neglect is lost with out its spirit to reflect
And you understand now that the world wasn't your home
When the flesh no longer clings to the bone and your soul is left in agony to groan and roam.

Remember, Jesus was sent to tell you of His Father's MARVELOUS  place;
Free to all who believed in His Son, God's Righteousness, Mercy and Saving Grace
To receive His Holy Spirit to instruct you in HOLINESS
A promise of abundant life and
BLESSED eternal rest

Oh-oh mad, mad, madness
Society' s waste smelling of nothing but badness

By the Grace of Our Father, All Glory Be Given to Him,
Your servant, Mishael

IS YOUR HEART OPEN?

EPHPHATA “BE OPEN”

IS YOUR HEART OPEN?

(With special thanks to my dear cousin DC, whom God sent to inspire me)

“…love is the fulfilling of the law”

ROMANS 13: 8-10
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I pray that you stand on your guard and that this message finds you alert to hear God’s word to lighten your heart and bring you new found joy.  Please give this gift to someone else, that they too may share in enlightenment and love.

Although, this message is meant to encourage and equip those who are single and unmarried, it’s message of relationship, the power of God’s perfect love, and the gift of brotherly love, will benefit everyone.  I pray that you will “Be Open” and receive God’s perfect will for His children.  If your life is filled with strife and conflict, alienation, disenfranchisement, pain, bitterness, hate, rejection, depression or loneliness, God has an endless source of peace and love that flows from heaven into those who receive His perfect love.

We must realize and accept that not everyone is to be given in marriage.  We must not look down on them, pity or judge them.  It is God’s plan for them.  However, before deciding that this is the case for you, make sure you are open for the love God wants you to have.  Make sure that it is God’s will for you not to marry and not your choice because you have closed your heart for one reason or another.  If there is fear, doubt, selfishness, anger, hurt, hatred, lusts, unfaithfulness, pride, idol worship or perversion within your heart, you are not open.  You have not been made perfect in God’s Love.  Being open to love others or to marry, means first being open to know the perfect love of God and allow Him to perfect love within you.

EXCUSES TO CLOSE YOUR HEART

  • Marriages never work.
  • Marriage is not what it’s cut out to be.
  • No one’s happily married.
  • Marriage will interfere with my career.
  • I’m too busy.  I don’t have the time.
  • Marriage will interfere with my calling.
  • I’m tired of being hurt.
  • I don’t trust people.
  • I don’t trust the opposite sex.
  • I just want to be left alone.
  • I’m happy as I am.
  • I don’t understand the opposite sex.
  • I always pick the wrong people
  • I’m set in my ways.
  • No one wants me.
  • I’m not attractive enough.
  • I’m not smart enough.
  • I’m too old.
  • I’ve been there, done that and don’t want to do it again.
  • I ruined my last marriage.
  • I don’t want to tie myself down to one person.
  • No one wants someone who has been divorced (once, twice, etc.)
  • No one is going to take all I have and worked hard to get in a divorce
  • I don’t make enough money.
  • I was in an abusive relationship.
  • No one wants someone with children.
  • I’m not taking care of someone else’s kids.
  • I can’t find anybody.
  • There’s no one suitable for me.
  • There’s no need to get married.  I’ll just live with someone.
  • Marriage is not just between a man and a woman.  I wasn’t made to be with the opposite sex.
  • No one wants someone with health problems or a disability
  • I’m ashamed of my past
  • I’ve got too many problems of my own to take on someone else’s, too.

I’m sure we could go on and on with reasons why people say they don’t want to get married, but…

Can Believers or anyone else think and talk like this and be healthy?  What affect does it have on your walk with God?

Jesus wanted us to know our Father better; not so that we could have a relationship with Him alone, but to learn to love our neighbor; and to become better husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, friends, employers, leaders, etc.

To walk with God, you must have an open heart, able to love and be loved.  Our relationships are important to God.  Life began with a relationship and life continues because of relationships.

We were born with open hearts.  Man was not created to be alone.  We were created to love one another.  While many people prefer and enjoy being unattached and even celibate, circumstances leave many people unwillingly single.  Many would say that they are comfortable, happy or content with their single status.   They find joy, contentment, fulfillment and comfort in the company of friends, family and their church.  However, many singles become too comfortable and use people as a safety zone to avoid working on intimate relationships with others and a more intimate relationship with God.

While some people are alone by circumstance, others have embraced today’s new preferred lifestyle of Single-arity/Singledom.  It is a lifestyle that promotes prosperity, status, vanity, non-commitment and promiscuity.

Still, others have completely closed their heart because they are in bondage to selfishness; fear; pain; afraid of rejection; afraid of being accountable; or afraid of hurting others.

EXPECTATIONS:    How many people begin a relationship or propose marriage saying, “ I want to be with you because I want a Holy and Righteous Relationship to bring us closer to God and make us better servants?”

More than often, people are attracted to one another by appearance, lusts, status, common interests and self-gratification.  If you look at the beginning expectations, the ending results are usually predictable.  What are you drawn and attracted to?  Look at your past expectations and the results they produced.  More than likely, you had to change your expectations.  What should we expect from a relationship?

Today people look at marriage and relationships as an investment.  They expect something in return.  Yes, even Christians have this mentality.  Relationships are not investments, they are opportunities to love and give back to God and our fellow man.  A relationship should be based on serving someone else and to love them with perfect love.

Marriage is meant to help break you; to humble you; to help you learn to die to yourself and live in Christ; marriage is meant to teach you how to serve in the Kingdom and bear His fruit.  As God gave Eve to Adam, a spouse is a gift from your Maker to teach you His love, ease your burden, reproduce your seed; to teach you how to lean and depend on God; marriage is meant to glorify God through the perfection of man.

Nonetheless, people always want to know what’s in it for me.  And when their expectations are not met, they are finished with the relationship.

1st Corinthians 8:1-3
1    Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2    And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3     But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

God expects nothing back from us but love.  We can’t give God anything but love, because everything belongs to Him.  Our love is manifested in our obedience and the fruits we bear; the Fruits of His Holy Spirit (faith, forbearance, gentleness, goodness, joy, love, kindness, peace, self-control).

  • A healthy relationship must bear fruit.

God said that if you love Me, you will obey Me.  Part of that obedience is loving others as we love ourselves.

  • To build a healthy relationship, you must truly love God “with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.”  To love Him is to trust Him and put Him first.

When we find ourselves in relationships filled with turmoil, strife and self-righteousness, we must remember who we are.  We are children of God.  God said, Be ye Holy, for your Father in Heaven is Holy.

  • To have a successful relationship, fill it with God’s Holiness and Righteousness.

So many people base their relationships on trusting man instead of God.  Their expectation is that the other person should never fail, betray or hurt them.  They put their trust in money never running out;  the accumulation of material wealth; the outer beauty never fading; the sex always being good; the fire not dying out; the health and body not breaking down; the children being perfect; not having to extend their help and love to family members; people staying the same and not changing, people being faithful and trustworthy; the world and other people not interfering; and so on.

The Psalms of David repeatedly demonstrate his trust in the Lord.  Like David we must know who to put our trust in and where are deliverance comes from.

YOUR WALK WITH GOD

Jehovah God can provide all our needs, therefore, it is right to believe that with God and Jesus, we have everything we need and that’s enough.  However, having everything also includes having God’s Will for us; His perfect plan for our lives; and having the desire to submit to His will and obey; for to follow Jesus is to accept and obey God’s perfect will because of His perfect love for us.

God’s perfect love is not conditional or limited.  Therefore, if we allow Him to make us perfect in love, neither will His perfect love be conditional and limited within us.

Some people even use God as an excuse not to marry.  Just as some religions forbid their clergy to marry, opening the church doors to the demonic spirit of perversion and making the congregation the prey.  We cannot impose celibacy and forbid what God has ordained.  God is the author and the finisher. He knows what is best for our lives.

Many believe that the power of perfect love is limited and lacks the capacity to love both the  Father and a spouse; for you would be tempted to love your spouse more than God.  When Jesus asked Peter do you love me more than these, He was not asking Peter to love Him only nor to lower his capacity to love his fellow man.  He had commanded that the disciples love one another to prove that they were His followers.  No, what Jesus was asking Peter to do was to proclaim His sovereignty over his life and for Peter to relinquish his love of the world and fear of man.  God becomes jealous when we put more trust in the world and man than Him; when we allow others to have more influence and control over us than He does.

Those who believe that we cannot love God first and most have no understanding of the height and depth of perfect love.  We must see God as the beginning and end of everything.  Love begins with God and emanates from God.  We cannot love others perfectly, unless we love God FIRST!  He is the ROOT of perfect love.  We must love and cling to the source of our love, first and foremost; for without it, we cannot love perfectly. To understand this vital connection, MAKES you love God more.  He becomes your FIRST LOVE.  In you heart you know and say, “I can’t breathe without You Father!  I can’t love without You Father and I can’t live without You Father!  You are the beginning and the end of my relationship with life!”

Mark 12:29-31
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

God’s perfect love helps us to fulfill the requirement for us to love our neighbor as ourselves.  God was not jealous of the relationship between Adam and Eve.  He gave Eve to Adam, wanting him to have a helpmate; to learn perfect love; and to live a full and happy life.

You can not love another perfectly, unless you love God more!  What an awesome God to give us such a powerful gift!  It is when we cling to the world, self-gratification and the approval of man that the darkness robs us of the abundant life that is promised to us.

Your Father in Heaven longs to give you the desires of your heart.  He wants to give good gifts to His children because He loves us so much.  Knowing and loving God enriches every area of your life, especially our relationships.

God created the relationship between a man and woman to make them better people and servants; and to increase the Kingdom.  If you have weaknesses in relationships, how can God perfect your weaknesses, if you don’t allow Him to teach you His perfect love?  Only God can finish the work He began.  You cannot choose how or when He will work by living in fear of life, love and people.  When we totally surrender to God, we also give Him our weaknesses.

QUESTION…DO YOU REALLY LOVE YOURSELF?  If you do not love yourself, then how can you love another?

Mark 12:31
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Do you accept negative statements spoken against you or family curses hanging over you?  Do you question your sexuality?  Do you disrespect your body with chemicals and drugs?  Have you forgiven yourself from the sins in your past, that God has already forgiven?  Do you blame yourself for wrong that others have done to you?  Do you take failure and disappointment in life as meaning you are not worthy of God’s blessings?

We have allowed others to abuse, neglect, hurt and betray us because we didn’t know who we were in Christ.  We didn’t love ourselves as God loves us, so how could we really love others or be loved as God would have us to be--in perfect love?

There are many things within us that can prevent us from becoming ‘OPEN’.  When you know who you are in Christ, and find joy in your life through Christ, you are more open to share your life with someone else.  You realize the mistakes of the past happened for a reason and whatever lies ahead is for a reason; and through it all, God is with you, teaching you to trust Him.

Learn to love yourself; care for yourself; and uplift yourself through the Word of God.  Surround yourself with people who will do the same; people who know who they are in Christ.

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

Adam walked with God.  God had a plan for Adam‘s life.  Adam was given everything by God, yet, he too, needed someone comparable to himself to walk beside and love.  But, how did Adam’s relationship with Eve affect his walk with God?  Adam failed to trust God, completely.  Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden; not because God no longer loved them, but because they had not learned perfect love.

There are those of us who receive everything from God and still live in fear, selfishness, or hardness of heart from past relationships and cannot find it in our heart to love again.  How does this affect our walk with God?  Have we surrendered everything to Him?  Do we trust Him completely?  Throughout all are hardships, trials and tribulations, God has not forsaken us.  He wants us to learn perfect love; to have true joy and not settle for the fleeting happiness of the world.

One may ask, why God did not remain Adam’s one and only constant companion.  It was not in God’s plan.  God is not bound by human form.  Adam’s spirit had been placed in a human form to have a relationship with the world around him.  Adam needed a helper in human form.  God created our bodies to respond to earthly and tangible things, giving us sight, touch, hearing, smell, taste. Adam needed another human being in which to share and experience these things in life, while being a helpmate to him.  God wanted Adam to have a full and abundant life on earth; knowing love as He knew it.  Loving and taking care of others brings us closer to God and the understanding of His Love for us.

So, your plans did not work out the way you wanted, so, you’re giving up or taking another route.  Is that a reason to close your heart?  Overcoming our pain and hardships makes us stronger and more appreciative of what we have and what is given to us.  Your plans were not God’s plans; for God cannot fail.  It’s time to let God do the driving.  He knows which way to go and the destination.  A relationship with another human being helped Adam to grow in perfect love; just as it can do for you.

As much as some would have it to be, we are never completely alone in this world, for God promised never to leave us alone.  His divine presence is all around us, upholding the stability of the world and universe; even for those who deny or forsake Him; even for His enemies.  As God sees fit to accept us, love us, guide us; have patience for us, provide for us, tolerate and forgive us, with all our imperfections, certainly we can find room for others in our life.  It is time to say, “Your Will, Lord, not mine.  It is time to truly surrender all to Him, and allow His Holy Spirit to teach you “perfect love.”

As we are perfected in Christ, so are we made perfect in love and faith.  This love and faith allows us to see with God’s eyes and feel with His heart.  God yearns to share Himself with us, certainly, if we are perfected in love, we also yearn to share ourselves with others in holiness and righteousness.  We will be driven by perfect love to pour out God’s love on others.  We will be FREE from fear, hate, bitterness, pain, doubt and bondage.  We will learn to look beyond the flesh and worldly desires, die to our will and accept God’s perfect will.

If we love and trust God, we cannot think of a relationship as strictly our choice alone, because we have specific preferences, likes and dislikes.  Relationships are part of God’s design for man and an important part of His plan for our individual lives.  He has set His children apart from the world.

EQUALLY YOKED

The “yoke” is mentioned numerous times throughout the Bible.  It is an important symbol of a relationship; a connection and responsibility.  Animals that are yoked to a cart are expected to work and pull the cart filled with a load that would be too heavy for a man to carry alone.  Jesus tells us that when we are yoked to Him, He will never give us more than we can bear.  When we are yoked to Him, our burden in life is much lighter for He helps to carry the load.  Yoked to Jesus, we come to know Him and find rest and peace. God admonishes us ‘not’ to be unequally yoked with others.  He has provided the means to be equally yoked through Christ Jesus.  Jesus said in Matthew 12:29-30

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

Therefore, what God asks His children to do is nothing beyond their ability, if they come to know and abide in Him and His Son.  This gives us a better understanding of  the saying, "What God has for me, is for me."  He knows your beginning and your end.  He knows your strengths and weaknesses.  He knows your hearts desires and He knows what you need.  Everything that He provides and plans for you is created especially for you.  You can not compare it to what anyone else has.  You can not find, provide or create anything better than what God has planned for you.  He asks you to trust Him, because He knows what is best.  God never gives us more than we can bear.  He never asks us to do anything without making a way for us to do it.

TIME

My friends, EPHPHATHA, BE OPENED!  Tomorrow is not promised to us.  God has given us a season to sow and reap.

Mark 7:32-35

32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Jesus performed many miracles that our eyes and hearts may be opened, our faith may be renewed and we would be turned back to the Father.  When we are yoked to the Triune God, He leads us and guides us, lightening our load, even carrying us, at times. When we enter into a relationship with someone, we cannot force them to join us and become yoked to Christ.  If they do not accept Christ’s yoke, we will be unevenly yoked.  We can not follow God one way and go in the opposite direction at the same time.  Conflict arises in the relationship.  Then, we look to God to help us do what is contrary to His Will and Way.  Our Father, who loves us, allows us to go through trials and tribulations, heartache and pain, to turn us from the wrong path, but He never leaves us, alone.

Never give up on God!  He has not given up on you!  He is waiting.  Your blessings are waiting.  He is waiting for you to follow Him again, His way.  He will take away all the pain and heartache from the past, if you just trust Him.  He will make everything new.  He will strengthen you where you are weak and let His beauty shine through you.

What God has for you, is for you.  Who He has for you, is for you.  True love is found by resting in the beauty of God.  In the beauty of His Holiness, your relationship will find strength and longevity.  Yoked to His Son, He will restore peace and harmony after each storm.  Comfort the grieving heart and restore your joy.  Every problem must be laid at His feet.  Every sin must be laid at His feet in repentance.  Forgiveness rests in His grace and mercy.  He wants to make you perfect in love, able to forgive and forget; to show grace and mercy; to humble yourself and live to serve others; this too is part of carrying our cross; part of abundant life.

Jesus came to open our eyes and our hearts to Our Father and all that He would have for us.  Accept this miraculous gift,  “EPHPHATHA, BE OPEN!”

Father, today we pray for the miraculous opening of eyes and hearts; that the hardness around them will crack and fall off; that people will invite you into their heart and lives and be open to Your Transforming Word.

Father, we pray that they will give You all the pain of their past relationships; the betrayal; the abuse; the rape; the drugs; the shame and guilt. We pray that You will transform their hearts to forgive cheating and adultery; stealing; lying; and all wrong doing against them.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we break the chains of bondage wrapped around them, keeping them from living free and holy lives; keeping them from receiving Your blessings; keeping them from entering the Kingdom. We bind the devil, his demons and curses upon Your children; oppressing them and leading them into sin. We bind all manner of disease and illness that prevents them from rising up to be who You would have them to be. We pray humbleness upon their hearts. We pray the Fruits of Your Holy Spirit into their lives to make them acceptable in Your sight.

Father, we ask You to renew their minds; wash them in the precious blood of Jesus; put a hedge of protection around them. Father, we ask that whoever you send their way, they will be open to receive Your love from them. Let not their eyes and hearts be polluted with prejudice, vanity, judgment; pride; or any worldly or unclean thought.

Father you say that we have not because we ask not. Father, we are asking, in Your Sons Name, Jesus! and if it be Your Will, fill our lives with loving relationships, yoked to You. We’re asking Father and we pray for all those who are single, either by choice or circumstance. We pray for those who are to remain single to follow Your plan. We pray for those whom you have joined together in marriage. We pray for those in struggling or abusive marriages. We pray that we will become open to receive your love, Father, so that we will be open to love one another as we should.

Father, we are asking; Please, let the power of Your Holy Spirit fall down on those who feel they are facing life alone. Help them to be open to the love of others. Remove fear and insecurity. Heal the pain and hurt from their past. Help them to rely on You for strength and courage to move forward to receive the blessings that you have in store for them.

Father we are asking; Open the hearts of others to receive single people into their lives and families; to be a friend to them and love them; to encourage them and to help them.

Father, we are asking; help us to be mindful that a hardened heart cannot enter the Kingdom. Help us to see that we cannot love others until we have learned to love You, Father, and accept Your Holy Spirit to teach us how to love as You do. Father, let them know that we must learn to truly love ourselves and believe that we are worthy of love. Not, just any kind of love, but the love of our Father.

Father, You said that as Christ loves the Church, so must a husband love his wife. Father, as You know, Satan has a war on marriage and families. Many marriages lack that love Father, because they do not put You first in their marriage. They do not seek the Kingdom first. Father, there are many husbands and wives out there who want change, but they don’t know how. Father, we’re asking; Bring them to their knees and Help them to see that by building their marriage with You as their foundation, they cannot fail. They may fall, but You can and will pick them up and keep them together and strengthen their bond.

Father, I pray that every man and woman first learn who they are in Christ before they seek a relationship; for we cannot seek our identity in others. We cannot expect others to make us happy. Happiness is a choice. Joy cometh not from the world, but from knowing You, Father; for You give us joy that the world cannot take away.

Father, we’re asking for your heavy hand of chastisement upon us to correct us, and direct us, Father. We know what we’re asking. Help us to see that love given and taken back, was not love at all. Help us not to hurt others and then expect others not to hurt us. Father, help us to trust Your unfailing love. Father, we’re asking You to increase our faith and trust in You. Like Your Servant, David who spoke over and over again, about Your unfailing love, help us to truly believe in Your unfailing love in every area of our life, especially in loving others.

Again we ask, Mature us in faith, Father, to make us obedient and perfect in love, Father, through Christ Jesus, help us to learn the true meaning of love. Love that only comes from You, dear Lord. Father, break the chains of bondage and let us “Be Open”! Amen

Your servant
Mishael

Who I Am in Christ

(From Neil Anderson, Living Free in Christ)

I am accepted…

  •    John 1:12        I am God’s child.

A Warrior's Prayer

Abba Father, Holy Spirit, Our First Love,

As we walk and talk with Thee today and share in Your love, use us to bring down Your Glory; to strike down and bind the schemes and plots of the evil one.  Oh, Father, on High, Our Great Redeemer, open our hearts to Thy Will and Thy Way, Lord.  Arm Your Warriors for battle, Light the path of Your Followers, strengthen our legs to walk upright in obedience, protect us.  Teach us Your Grace and Mercy. Humble our hearts so that our minds will be open to Your Wisdom and Teaching.  Remove all doubt and fear so that we walk by Faith and not by sight.

Make us mindful to remember that we do not war against flesh and blood.  Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Help us to tread upon this carnal world without being pulled into the darkness of sin and iniquity.  Help us to be One, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, the Christ.  Help us to hold one another up in battle; helping our brother to stand; protecting his back; spurring him on to victory; strengthening his weaknesses; feeling his pain; celebrating his victory; loving him as we love ourselves.

Take us into the heat of battle today to bind Your enemy on earth, as Your Angels bind the adversary in heaven.  We walk through the valley of darkness, knowing You are with us.  We shall fear no evil for Thou art with us.  We rest and abide in Your comfort and blessed assurance that the battle is ours, the victory has been won upon the cross, where our blessed Saviour died.

Oh, Lord, as we walk through the battlefield today.  We bind the spirit of fear amongst Your people and cover them with the blood of Jesus.  We bind the spirit of fear that is not of God.  We bind the spirit of fear that instills the spirits of ignorance, hatred, bitterness, vengeance, greed, jealousy, self-righteousness, covetousness, selfishness and all manners of ungodly thinking.

As we walk through the battlefield today, our feet shod with Your Peace, we remember the nail-scarred hands of our Messiah, who brought peace that passes all understanding.  Peace that can only be understood through abiding in Him.  Father, we speak YOUR peace upon the nations.  Peace that makes the lion lay next to the Lamb.  Peace that carries us through the storms of life.  Peace that is not self-willed, self-indulgent, and self-righteousness.  Peace that brings us to our knees that we may be submissive to Your Everlasting, Magnificent and Glorious Power.

Abba Father, Heavenly Host, Merciful and Most Gracious God, The Great I Am, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, walk with us through the dry places that we may pour out Living Water upon the masses; that we may resurrect dry bones, the walking-dead who are asleep and dead in sin.

With Your Shield of Faith, we reflect the lying arrows of darkness.  Protected by the Helmet of Your Salvation,  we proclaim salvation upon Your People--Your Children.  Shielded with Your Breastplate of Righteousness and surrounded by Your Belt of Truth, we speak righteousness and Your everlasting Truth to free Your People; to encourage and equip them; and to sustain them through the battle.  God let not Your warriors grow weary.  We cry out, "God is With You!  He will Never Forsake You!  To God Be The Glory!"

We shine the Light of Jesus to help them see Your Truth, Your Life, Your Way--the Only Way.  We wield the Sword of Your Spirit to cut through the darkness of innocent blood that has been spilled upon Your Holy Ground.  We proclaim the righteousness of God--not man.

Oh, Father, we remember and we thank You, that there is a Balm in Gilead to heal the sin-sick soul,  there is a Balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole; those who have been dismembered, maimed, crippled, scarred, orphaned, grief-stricken, imprisoned, tortured and lost.  Oh, we proclaim Hope to the hopeless, poor and needy.  We proclaim Sight to the blind!  May the temple of each man, woman and child be cleansed and healed, in the name of Jesus!  Lay Your hands of Mercy on the Merciful.  Lay Your Strength upon the Righteous.  Protect Your Anointed Ones.  Uphold Your Covenant!  Do not let darkness defile Your Holy Places!

Father, we lay healing hands upon the sick and wounded, proclaiming Your Glory!  We see with Your Eyes!  We hear with Your Ears!  We feel with Your Heart! We proclaim Your Love that has depths that we can not understand!  Holy Spirit, use our bodies to do Your Will upon this Earth.

Father, as we walk upon the battlefield today and pass through the shadows of darkness.  We proclaim Liberty from the carnal world, that we may help bring Your Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven.  Liberty that resounds from Heaven.  Liberty that pierces the soul.  Liberty that cries out for God's Mercy and Love.  Liberty that withstands war, pestilence, disease and evil.  Father, we proclaim Divine Health and Healing in our lives and upon Your Children!

Father we proclaim the Freedom and Truth that broke the chains of death; that Freedom and Truth which was given to us when He that loved us was rejected, betrayed, imprisoned, scourged, crucified, buried and rose again on the third day; that Freedom and Truth which ascended into Heaven and now is seated at Your Right Hand.  By Him and for Him we are free and free indeed that we may live not for ourselves but for You that made us and gives us all things that we may live in Truth, Holiness and Righteousness to bless our fellow man.  And if we choose to curse, rather than bless, than, we are a curse before God and the Truth is not in us.

Father, we bind the pestilence of ignorance that permeates the land.  We open the door to Light and Salvation.  We set our lamps high for all to see, that they may be drawn to Thee.

Speak to the hearts of Your People, Lord.  Let them know that "Vengeance is Mine, Saith the Lord."  Show them that they were created to serve one another.  Protect the children from the pestilence of hatred that they are taught to drink like wine; that makes them drunk with hatred and revenge; that makes them believe their lives are made valuable by fighting, killing, destroying and blowing up their neighbor.

Father, You have given us our daily bread.  You have made a place for us at Your table.  Lord, make us worthy to sit at Your Feet and be blessed.

Father, we are not worthy if we hate our neighbor; for You said that a hardened heart can not enter the Kingdom of God.  Father, we are not worthy if we take our hands from the plow and look back.  Father, we are not worthy if we do not obey Your commandments.  Father, we are not worthy, if we do not first seek the Kingdom of Heaven.

How quickly we forget Your deliverance!  How quickly we turn from Your Ways and Will for us!  How quickly we run to false doctrine when You have made following You simple enough for a child to understand!  We would rather follow man instead of God! For man satisfies our carnal needs and self-love.  Have mercy upon our weakness!  Forgive us, Father, Forgive us!

But man can not make himself holy, so how can he make another holy? Man can not bring righteousness!  Man can not bring PEACE!!!  Only the hand of God can make the crooked places straight and turn the hearts of our enemies.  "Vanity, vanity, said the preacher.  All is vanity!"  We suffer because we do not turn to God!!!

Father, help us to see our vanity and our vain efforts, that our children will not suffer and go hungry.  We cry out for Your Mercy that our land will be healed from the disease of sin that leads to death.

Father, the enemy tries to claim rights without the righteousness of God!  Father, darkness veils the eyes of Your enemies, so that they can not see their sin.  The eyes of their heart have been seared by hatred and they walk in darkness.  They can not see that Your Kingdom has no division, no prejudice and only One Leader and King of Kings.  May we thwart their plan for our demise by binding ourselves together to form an impenetrable wall, cemented by faith, surrounded by the  overflowing river of Your Love.

Thanks be unto God!  We Stand! We Stand Ready and Armed!  We Stand Willing, Unbound, Unchained, Untied and Unfettered, through Your Holy Spirit!  We Stand As One!  Let us press toward The Mark!

Philippians 3:13-15  (KJV)

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

To God Be All the Glory in His Matchless Power, Righteousness and Holiness. Amen.  Amen.  In Jesus' Name.  YES! In Jesus Name; for there is NO OTHER name by which we can be saved from sin.  Amen. Amen.  Hallelujah! To God, Abba Father, whom we love with all our heart and soul.  We worship Thee in Truth and in Spirit.  We adore Thee.  Amen.

Your Humble Servant,
Mishael

Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV)

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Romans 13:12-14 (KJV)

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

John 15:5 (KJV)

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

1 Peter 4:12-13 (KJV)

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Romans 8:37-39 (KJV)

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 3:27 (KJV)

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

RIGHTS WITHOUT RIGHTEOUSNESS

“The Gospel of Jesus teaches us that through God we have power to make the right choices and live in holiness and righteousness.  In this truth...in this Light, you will find peace, comfort and joy in who and what you are; for God will make you whole.  Only God can complete the work He has begun.  The world will tell you to take pride and boast in your iniquity, to stay chained to your insecurities, to starve your spiritual deficiencies and feed your carnal addictions.  The world will offer you rights without righteousness” mishael

RIGHTS WITHOUT RIGHTEOUSNESS

To My Brothers and Sisters searching for the Way; I speak to you as one who was lost.
To My Brothers and Sisters searching for the Truth; I speak to you as one who was a slave to Lies;
To My Brothers and Sisters searching for Life…I have found Him.  Let me lead you to the Way, the Truth and the Life.

It is my earnest prayer that you come to know who you are in Christ Jesus.  In a world, that rejects God, we are encouraged to find identity within darkness and love of the world.  We are encouraged to be imitators of those who are in darkness, instead of imitators of God.  We work against our very existence with joy and haste.  “Have Pride. Be whatever you think you should be and be proud of it!”  Satan has even convinced people that life no longer has value, so LIVE for the moment!  It’s okay to die young as long as you got to do what you wanted to do.  This is the New Age of Man, Freedom and Equality, without restraint; without the constraint of God; without God!

How sadly mistaken they are, for rooted in mankind is an innate will to survive and exist, which lies in God’s miracle of procreation and our dependence on Him for love and life.  Yet, the darkness to destroy our existence is ever present in one form or another and many fall into its pit.

Picture
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NKJV)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Without God, we grope in darkness.  Our cares are only for ourselves and our own needs.  We are unable to mature to the fullness of Christ.  Yet, men continue to hold council with darkness and take pride in their rebellion against God.   This is what God told Samuel to tell Saul about his rebellion:

1 Samuel 15:23

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”

24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

Oh, what can man boast of; for God is the maker and giver of all?  To say that you will have pride in your iniquity is to shake a fist in God's face.  What we see before us today, in all shapes and forms of lust, fornication and abomination is a manifestation of man's rebellion and rejection of God.  It is man telling God it is time for Him to change and if you want to be our God, you will have to let us be who and what we want to be.  It is man telling God that this is how I feel and choose to live.  I cannot help it because…this is how you made me.

Yes, God has made us.  He has made us in His image, an image He has revealed through His Word.  He has clearly stated His plan for His creation, in order that we may live holy and be like Him.  God wants us to honor Him in every area of our lives.  He wants us to make choices based on righteousness and holiness, not on how we feel; not on an image we create of ourselves; not on the way we fear or hate; not because of lust, greed, rebellion, pride and insecurity.

To honor God is to surrender our will to Him in obedience; to Him to whom we owe all; to Him who gives us strength and power to conquer all worldly things, including those of the flesh.  When we do not surrender all to God, then we think it too hard to change or accept His will for us.  Satan tells us we can not live a lie, that this is how we were meant to be.  He tells us that we have the right to control our own lives and our own bodies, while all the time he is in control; for to reject the will of He who made you is to put yourself in bondage to another who seeks to destroy you.  There is no neutral territory.

Romans 10:3

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

“Be ye holy says the Lord, for I am Holy.  “

Our relationship with God is based on choices.  From this, we are given to see the nature of grace in our loving Father, who pursues a relationship with us in spite of our choices.  The choices we make determine our pathway to maturity.  The world measures maturity based upon mind and body; how we are able to make decisions for ourselves and others.  God measures the maturity of our souls on our relationship with Him.  One day our bodies will be cast off; for we are spiritual beings and we will be like Him.

To say that we have desires and needs that only the world can fulfill is to deny and crucify Christ; for He was sent to teach us how to conquer the world.  If we choose to succumb to the lusts of the world, we make His dying in vain.

The gospel of Jesus teaches us that through God we have power to make the right choices and live in holiness and righteousness.  In this truth...in this Light, you will find peace, comfort and joy in whom and what you are; for God will make you whole.  Only God can complete the work He has begun.  The world will tell you to take pride and boast in your iniquity, to stay chained to your insecurities, to starve your spiritual deficiencies and feed your carnal addictions. The world will offer you rights without righteousness”

John 8:32-34  (NKJV)

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.

Again, in what can man boast?  God raises kings and kingdoms and causes them to fall.  He erases names and silences voices, so that their deeds will be undone and their shouts of victory won't even be a whisper.  This God can do. When we take pride in our flesh and pride in our sin, we are like a bell, when stricken-- makes no sound; or a vain woman whose beauty fades away.    We can not do what we were created to do.  In us, there is only superficial beauty.  Ecclesiastes 1:2  “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”

In what can man boast? Man's law will pass away, but God's Word is everlasting.  When you stand before God on the Day of Judgment, where will man’s laws be?  Who will give you rights without righteousness?  “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”

Nations become puffed up and haughty.  We will show you there is no God, they shout, and if there is, He must change.  Those who follow Him must change.  We will make laws to make them change.  It is for the good of our nation...and for the good of His people; for we will not change.  And God hears and allows it; not because He is weak and can do nothing; not because He does not exist; not because He agrees; but because He is all seeing and all knowing.  He knows the future and He sees the outcome; for it is His--to determine.

Psalm 37:38 (NKJV)

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

The moon is darkness, but it receives light from the sun and shines light upon the world.  The Lady, receives her light from the Son, she is able to conquer the darkness and shine light upon the world.  (Revelation 12)  “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”

They will know there is a God.

If you reject the fact that God created you, then you are a thing of the world and the world will do with you what it will.  Even so, if you believe He...the Almighty God is your Maker, because you believe in God and know that your sin is an abomination to Him, then, Satan seeks to destroy you because you are an abomination to the world of darkness.

Picture
  Acts 26:18

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

1 Corinthians 5:5

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

What destruction, you say?  My life is full.  I have what I want. I am happy. I am loved.  Would you have your soul to be destroyed?  What is a soul?  It is that which you cling to and seek to control.  It is that which you pump drugs into because it cries out for love and relief from the pain in the world.  It is that which has become confused and damaged and you don’t know how to recover.  This is what the enemy has planned and has succeeded in doing because you seek rights without righteousness, which can only come from God.

A soul is that which you have convinced it is okay for men to lie down with men and women to lie down with women.  It is that which you convince to sell your body.  It is that which you convince to sell drugs to kill your brother.  It is that which you convince in order to cheat and rob or abandon your child.  It is that which finds no hope; becomes lost and can not bear life.

Would you have your soul lie in the pit of hell and damnation because you do not repent?  So harsh, so harsh, you say.  God is a loving God.  He would not do that to me.  And, if He would, I want nothing to do with such an angry and hateful God.

…Angry and hateful?  Who is angry and hateful?  God gave you life, but you show no gratitude to Him.  You think only of yourself and your desires.  You reject the image He made you in and choose to create one for yourself.  You did not trust Him to help you.  Your feelings are more important than His feelings.  YES, GOD HAS FEELINGS! He gave you His Son to abide in, yet, you reject Him, also, in order to satisfy your carnal lusts.  He can save you.  He can deliver you from any and everything.  But, you think you know better.  “This is what I want.  This is who I am.”  Some even say, “This is what I want for NOW,” as if they have control over the here and now; as if they make the sun to rise and set.  Tomorrow is not promised to us and if you can’t control today, what makes you think you can control tomorrow?

God gave you commandments to follow; to put Him first; to love Him with all your heart and all your mind and soul.  (Exodus 20)  But, you hated His laws and you hated Him.  No?  You didn’t?  God said, “If you love me, then you will keep my commandments.  You do not believe His Word.  You do not want to know His Word.  If you do not know His Word, then you do not know God; for in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.

Stand ye there now and question the wrath of God?  When He gave you free will to make the choices that you made?  You followed after the darkness of the world, because your soul lacked Truth; Truth that your heart did not want to hear.  Like a spoiled child, you wanted and you took; not caring about the consequences.  Only the moment and immediate gratification was important.  You believed you had love; but it was worldly love.  You rejected the true love of God.  That is why you became a lover of yourself.  That is why you went after strange flesh.  That is why you lied and cheated.  That is why you are in bondage; that is why you are imprisoned.  God was not in it; nor His anger.  It was your anger and aversion towards who God had made you to be; your refusal to bend towards His Will and His Way.

He could have smote you and ended your life.  But, did He?  He could have made you over and given you abundant and eternal life.  Nothing is too hard for God.

Jeremiah 32:17

Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

You have not lived until you know the fullness of the Lord.  Poverty and hardship, you may not have had, but your life was a lie and the righteousness and holiness of God was not in it.  Only God can give life and life abundantly.  Sin paints an illusion of life and happiness, while it robs you of the Truth.

And when you reach the Day of Judgment, all that you thought you had is left behind.  There you stand before God, naked, with only your life of iniquity to cover you, when you could have been clothed in holiness and righteousness and covered by God.

Mercy…mercy you ask?  Mercy is for the repentant and those who have shown mercy to others.  You lived out your sinful life in boldness and pride; showing no mercy to God, who continued to provide and hope for you.  Showing no mercy to the welfare of His Kingdom and those you influenced and affected.  No mercy given to those who loved you and prayed for your deliverance.  It was all about you.  It was your life; it belonged all—to--you.  But, Jesus…God’s Son, gave His life for all, including you.  You did not believe in Him to abide in Him.  You believed in yourself.  You listened to the world, because the world told you what you wanted to hear.  But God, this God whom you’ve rejected; whom you accuse of being so angry and hateful…WHERE IS GOD NOW?!!!  He’s still on the Mercy Seat, waiting to hear from you.
Picture

He gave me this opportunity to speak to you; to tell you He still loves you; and to ask you to repent.  He couldn’t get close to you because He is Holy and you rejected holiness. He couldn’t get close to you because He is Righteous and you rejected righteousness.  He couldn’t get close to you because He is pure Light and you rejected the Light.

He couldn’t get close to you because He is the Way and you rejected the Way.  Still, He tried, but, He couldn’t get close to you because He is Truth and you rejected Truth.  He tried again, but He couldn’t get close to you because He is life and you rejected the Way, the Truth and the Life.  He came back and tried again, but, He couldn’t get close to you because He is Love and you rejected His Love.

Now, you find out that there is more to life.  You are a spiritual being.  You were just a visitor in the world to work out your soul’s salvation.  Now your soul needs rest.  Now eternal life sounds good.

The world told you to take pride in your sin and be true to yourself, but you didn’t even know who you were.

If we are true to God, we acknowledge His presence in everything we say and do.  We do not try to take power away from Him.  We do not try to glorify ourselves or others.  We honor Him through obedience and He shows us His will and His way for us.  He directs our path and leads us to holiness and righteousness.  You weren’t true to yourself.  You lied to yourself and continued lying to yourself to remain in sin.

Oh? The devil made you do it?  Well, that’s why we need God who protects us from the evil one.  That’s why we abide in Jesus, who keeps us from sin.

Romans 5:19

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Romans 6:15-17 (NKJV) From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.

Deuteronomy 28:1

[ Blessings on Obedience ] “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

1 Timothy 1:17

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
